The Study on Complementary Instruction of Dimension Presentation via
Image Observation and Analysis of Linear Structure 


  
Most of the students in designing field are equipped with the concepts and basic abilities of image perspectivization. However, when it comes further about the dimensional variation and complicated images, the students may make many errors at once. The study suspects that if students’ basic perspectives are correct, why errors appear when they face the complicated images. Are those resulted from students who do not digest the concepts? Or aren’t they able to extend and transform the dimensional concepts into the skills of presentation? And are both of the questions related to the students’ lack of the experience to practice the image observation? Therefore, the study purposes the two methods about “analysis of image observation” and “conventional teaching” to proceed the following experiment and comparison on the grouped freshmen for one semester. 


  
According to 3-semester statistics, these show that the students grouped in “analysis of image observation” and trained for one semester are much more well-done in proficiency, efficiency and accuracy of image composition than the students’ grouped in “conventional teaching”. Furthermore, the error rate as a whole in details is also much lower. The former method should be helpful for students to deal with more complicated substantial presentations in the future. Hopefully, if we keep pursuing, examining the follow-up, and setting up an effective mode of teaching and learning, it will benefit more excellent coming men.
